I wanted to be able to find a family away from home and be able to have a support system here in Wisconsin while my family was 2000+ miles away. I wanted to ensure that my college experience would be filled with meaningful relationships and experiences and aKDPhi offered me an opportunity I could not pass up. : I have met so many new people and built relationships with people that I would never have thought to have met if I didn't go Greek. I am able to call people from across the nation my sisters because we share a special bond that can't be justified with words. I have been able to grow and mature as an individual and been able to mentor younger girls and be a role model. I have gained so many valuable professional and leadership skills that have better prepared me for life outside of college, including communication, program planning, time management, etc. I have developed as an individual and have had the rewarding opportunity to help someone reach a standard they never knew they could reach.: My hobbies are sleeping, traveling, cooking, and relaxing with friends. I love eating and going on food adventures. As long as I have food and good company, I would be content with my life.: One day, I hope to be able to change the world somehow. Even if it's miniscule, I want to be able to leave my footprint in the world. It would be great if I could work for a company that had a lot of infleunce, but is also dedicated to bettering the world through a positive and empowering lens.
