: Fall 2013: Mayta : Computer Science: Class of 2015: London, UK: Chinese: Webmistress (Spring 2014): InterVarsity Intern (Spring 2014): Coming from a country where we don't have anything like this, I wanted to explore the mystery of the Greek system for myself. As an only child, I also wanted to experience sisterhood and establish a family away from home. Being an Asian/Asian-American interest sorority, aKDPhi seemed like the perfect opportunity to explore both Asian and American culture... and it has certainly lived up to this! Taking leadership roles in student orgs and projects has always been important to me, and Greek life involvement seemed like a good way to maintain this momentum.: Despite crossing as a junior, aKDPhi really challenged my definitions of love, friendship, trust, support and responsibility, I certainly feel privileged to be part of this community, and am always inspired by the passion, dedication, and difference my sisters make on campus! It motivates me to aim high and keep chasing dreams - aKDPhi is the epitome of teamwork.: Traveling, eating, sleeping, badminton, water activities... trying new things!: To be successful in something I'm passionate about, to help others, and to make the most of opportunities!
