Chicago Bone Marrow Drive for Save Nina

Posted on Jul 30, 2013

Sisters and brothers from Lambda Phi Epsilon in Chicago volunteered this past weekend at bone marrow drive in Chinatown for the Save Nina campaign.

Nina Louie is a 32-year old woman who is a loving wife and mom to a 2-year old boy and an aKPDhi alumna. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in September 2012 and after a brief remission, discovered that the cancer had spread to her brain in May 2013. Her doctors have said that Nina’s only hope of beating the cancer is with a bone marrow transplant, but she has been unable to find a match. Nina has 2 weeks left and her chances are 1 in 20,000 to find a match. We only have 7,500 people typed through our campaign and need help reaching the 20,000 goal.

Please look into getting typed and help to Save Nina!
