Awards & Achievements

2014-2015

  • Sister Thuy Dan Tran receives the I.R.I.S. Award from our national organization. An award that  recognizes inspirational sisterhood and the exceptional activism in the five pillars of: leadership, scholarship, Asian awareness, community service, and sisterhood. It is given to those who have dedicated their undergraduate careers to improving their chapter. 
  • Sisters Verona Chen and Lenai Johnson successfully completed aKDPhi National Board Pacesetters Program for Emerging Leaders.
  • Sisters Joan Bunyi and Thuy Dan Tran successfully completed aKDPhi National Board SEN10R Leaders Embracing Growth and Commitment to Psi (LEGACΨ) Program.
  • All Greek Council awards chapter with “Outstanding Leadership,” “Outstanding Alumnae Relations,” and “Outstanding Community Service.”
  • All Greek Council awards sisters Thuy Dan Tran and Maikoau Vang with “Outstanding Greek Individual.”
  • All Greek Council awards sister Thuy Dan Tran with “Outstanding Chapter President.”
  • All Greek Council awards sister Susan Luo with “Outstanding Greek Scholar.”
  • Multicultural Greek Council awards chapter with “Outstanding Philanthropy” and “Outstanding Community Service.”
  • Multicultural Greek Council awards sister Gloria Lee with “Outstanding Greek Individual.”
  • Multicultural Greek Council awards sister Samty Xiong with “Outstanding Greek Scholar.”
  • Raised over $3000 in funds for Avon Breast Cancer Crusade as a chapter.
  • Chapter successfully hosted our first ever “aKDPhi Week” to celebrate our 7 years on campus.

 

2013-2014

  • Announced as an Associate Chapter at the 2014 National Convention in Orlando, Florida

  • Sister Jessica Chang successfully completed aKDPhi National Board SEN10R Leaders Embracing Growth and Commitment to Psi (LEGACΨ) Program
  • All Greek Council awards chapter with “Outstanding Cross-Council Interaction” and “Outstanding Alumnae Relations
  • All Greek Council awards sister Gloria Lee with “Outstanding Community Service” as well as “Most Outstanding New Member” -the third year in a row a sister of Wisconsin aKDPhi has been honored with this award
  • All Greek Council awards sister Jessica Chang with “Outstanding Greek Individual
  • All Greek Council awards sister Joan Bunyi with “Outstanding Greek Leader
  • All Greek Council awards sister Theresa Balinghasay with “Outstanding Greek Scholar
  • Multicultural Greek Council awards chapter with “Outstanding Greek Organization” for the second year in a row as well as “Outstanding Community Service Event
  • Multicultural Greek Council awards sister Theresa Balinghasay with “Outstanding Greek Scholar
  • Raised over $2600 in funds for Avon Breast Cancer Awareness as a chapter
  • Chapter successfully hosted Midwest Sister Rally 2014

2012-2013

  • Placed 2nd in Lambda Theta Alpha’s Triple S competition in the stroll category
  • All Greek Council awards sister Hillary Chang with “Most Outstanding New Member
  • The chapter received two awards from the Multicultural Greek Council: “Outstanding Greek Organization” and “Outstanding Community Service Event
  • All Greek Council awards our Eta Class for “Highest New Member Class GPA
  • Raised over $1700 in funds for Avon Breast Cancer Awareness as a chapter
  • Collectively, the 48 chapters of alpha Kappa Delta Phi surpassed our goal of $65,000 and raised $66,912 for BCA this year.
  • Successfully hosted our first (and now annual) Mr. Pink Pageant with the Associate Dean of Student Life, Pre-college Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) Scholarship Director, and Multicultural Greek Council Advisor as judges

2011-2012
